Sandy Liptak taught third grade for 16 years before becoming an elementary school librarian. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin. She also earned a Master of Science, Library Science from the University of North Texas. Sandy’s husband, Kurt, was her biggest supporter in starting Lessons By Sandy. He worked in media for 25 years, and produced more than 6,000 TV newscasts.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film from The University of Texas at Austin, and owned a small production company.  Although he has passed away, he is sure to be listening to music, cheering for the Texas Longhorns, and watching over his family, friends, and Sandy with love.
